Pumps, Motors & Controls, Inc. (PMC) is a Houston, Texas-based company specializing in the full-cycle construction, sales, and service of prefabricated pumping stations. We handle everything from initial engineering consultation and custom fabrication to on-site installation, commissioning, and long-term maintenance.

Our team brings over 60 years of combined technician experience to every project. Our primary focus is golf course irrigation — an industry where pump station reliability isn't just a preference, it's the difference between a playable course and a costly shutdown. That said, our expertise extends across municipal water systems, wastewater treatment, nursery and landscape irrigation, and sports turf facilities.

PMC was founded in 2010 as the direct successor to the Carroll Childers Company, which built its first prefabricated pumping station in 1965. When Carroll Childers retired, PMC was established specifically to continue manufacturing and servicing those stations — making us the only fully factory-trained service center for Carroll Childers equipment in the country.

We are based in the Houston metropolitan area but maintain service agreements with partner companies throughout the United States and North America, ensuring our clients receive responsive, expert support wherever their facilities are located.
